Derelict Map

Derelict's world includes these major areas:

1. Desolate Valley — Starting spawn area
2. Gideon's Camp — Main hub, blacksmith, tutorial quests
3. Monte Sant'Angelo — Early city (limited content in Alpha)
4. The Den — Bandit camp, Pale Leather farming
5. Fort Hollow — Avarus Captain boss
6. Subjugation Stronghold — Giant Crab boss
7. Feeding Ground — Iron ore and salt deposits
8. Hollow's Arch — Mid-game transition zone
9. Weeping Grove — Asher, Storm of Vengeance boss
10. Weeping Cavern — Monkey Boss (in development)
11. Veiled Cathedral / Veiled Sanctuary — Solar Altar, Aureatus crafting
12. Additional zones — More areas added with each major update

Gideon's Camp is the primary hub. Reach it by following the gravel path east from Desolate Valley (2-3 minute walk).

Complete all Gideon and Percival quests here before venturing into harder zones.

Dungeons break the open-world formula with linear paths and boss encounters at the end. Each dungeon guards special loot.

• Fort Hollow Dungeon — Leads to Avarus Captain
• Subjugation Stronghold — Giant Crab encounter within ribcage structure
• Weeping Grove Castle — Climb to reach Asher, Storm of Vengeance
• Weeping Cavern — Deep cave system with yellow portal to Monkey Boss

Dungeons have higher enemy density. Clear mobs methodically and conserve stamina for boss fights.

Iron Ore — Feeding Ground

Reach Mining level 15 to mine Iron Ore. The Feeding Ground cave is 4-5 minutes from Gideon's Camp. Avoid enemies at low levels — they will kill you quickly.

Salt Deposits

Found in the same Feeding Ground area. Used for cooking fried rice and other meal recipes at the Cozy Campfire.

Copper & Bronze Ore

Scattered near Gideon's Camp and Desolate Valley. Mine to level up Mining skill and craft Bronze gear.

Herbs & Plants

Gathered throughout all zones for potion crafting at the Cauldron.

Bonsai stations serve as fast travel points throughout Derelict. Interact with any discovered Bonsai to:

• Teleport to other activated Bonsai locations
• Access item storage
• Equip and manage abilities, spells, and Weapon Arts

Activate every Bonsai you find. The first is at Gideon's Camp. Later areas like Fort Hollow, Weeping Grove, and Veiled Cathedral have their own Bonsai stations.

Teleport to Fort Hollow for the Avarus Captain boss, Subjugation Stronghold for Giant Crab, and Weeping Grove for Asher.
