Mastering Derelict starts with knowing your controls. This guide covers default PC keybinds, gamepad inputs, combat actions, and how to remap keys to your preference.

Remap gamepad buttons through Roblox settings if the defaults feel uncomfortable.
Combat Actions
Derelict's combat system mirrors Dark Souls with several distinct actions:
- Light Attack — Fast, low stamina cost combo attacks
- Heavy Attack — Slower, high damage, breaks enemy posture
- Thrust Attack — Piercing attack with extended reach
- Aerial Attack — Attack while falling for bonus damage
- Dodge — Grants brief invincibility frames (i-frames). Costs stamina
- Block — Hold RMB to absorb damage with shield or weapon. Drains stamina
- Parry — Timed RMB press deflects attacks and depletes enemy posture
- Riposte — Critical attack after breaking enemy posture
- Weapon Art — Unique skill per weapon, activated with Z

Customization
All controls in Derelict can be remapped. Access the keybind settings through the in-game menu or Roblox settings overlay.
- Open the pause menu in Derelict
- Navigate to Settings or Controls
- Click the action you want to rebind
- Press your preferred key or button
- Save changes
Recommended tweaks: move Dodge to a easily reachable key (Spacebar or Shift), and bind Weapon Art to a mouse side button for faster combos.
